Jennifer Walters is from LA, she got her law degree from UCLA, and her cousin is Bruce Banner. One day a crime boss shot her and she was seriously wounded and on the verge of dyeing. Bruce came to visit her and gave her a blood transfusion with his own blood. Fusing his blood with hers, this causes her to become She Hulk.
