“Wedding Every Weekend” – Hallmark Movie Review

📸: Hallmark Gold Crown

I give this movie 10 out of 10 vomits

🟢 Plot 🟢

Nate and Brooke are going to the same four weddings, four weekends in a row. To avoid set-ups, they go together as “wedding buddies.” But what starts as a friendship soon becomes deeper.

🟢 The Stars 🟢

Kimberley Sustad – Brooke

Paul Campbell – Nate

🟢 Non Spoiler Spew 🟢

I have found my all time favorite Hallmark movie!! For sure in my top 5. This was honestly such a fantastic movie. I loved every minute of it.

As soon as the movie opened I was all in 😅 The song they chose to open the movie was “Let My Love Open the Door” by Pete Townshend. LOVE THIS SONG! So if a movie has this song as an opening it can’t be bad. Right? . . . RIGHT!

To me this movie would have been great enough to be presented on the silver screen. Just flush out things in the script a little more and it could have easily been a new romcom favorite.

The Meeting of Our Future Couple

The way the meet is pretty cute to me. They meet in a store where Brooke is helping her friend register for gifts for her wedding. Brooke is picking out an espresso machine and she asks Nate for help. I was totally fine with them meeting like this because this is such a natural way for people to meet. When I am at the store I don’t mind asking people around me for their opinion on something as long as they are in the same department I am in.

This was such a perfectly written script. I wish all Hallmark movies could be like this. It was such a cute movie and we were given a pretty good understanding on who everyone was and their personalities. Usually we don’t get enough back story on everyone, but I was pretty happy with everyone’s story here. It was just so realistic so it made the movie that much better to me. Even the comedy in this movie was spot on.

Kimberley and Paul have such amazing chemistry together! Oh. My. Goodness. They were freaking perfect together! Legit perfect! They were so good that I honestly thought they were a real couple. I totally believed everything they were doing in this movie. Their friendship and romance was totally believable. You could tell Kimberley and Paul are friends outside of filming movies. Kimberley and Paul both play their characters with just the right amount of awkwardness that is needed for their situation. Honestly they are such a perfect pairing. They need to be in more movies together. To me they are perfect like how Lacey Chabert and Brennan Elliott from All of My Heart: Inn Love. So I have nothing but great things to say about Kimberley and Paul.

Likes and Dislikes

What was not to like?? I enjoyed how funny everyone was. Hallmark usually doesn’t play the comedy card correctly, but they sure did in this one. Everyone had quick remarks that were perfectly delivered. For example, there is a scene where Brooke and her friend go to a sip and paint event. While at the event Brooke is talking about relationships and says, “Ugh what am I doing?”. The art teacher comes behind her and says, “That’s ok, just paint over it”. Brooke then says, “Can I do that in life?”. <—- This line had my laughing!

Usually I do not comment on wardrobe, but in this movie they really put their best foot forward. The wardrobe team had Kimberly in such cute dresses. There is one dress in particular that she wears to the second wedding and OH MY GOSH I NEED that dress. It was gorgeous!

There was nothing. NOTHING. That I did not like about this movie. I am sure someone could point out flaws but I would not let that sway me from saying this movie is perfect 😄

🟢 Watch or Don’t Watch? 🟢

This is DEFINITELY a MUST WATCH movie! Hopefully it will also be your new favorite Hallmark movie 😊
