I am absolutely in LOVE with this movie. Like IN LOVE with it! This is honestly one of the best Hallmark movies I have seen. A Wedding Every Weekend right now is my top fav, but this one is giving it a run for its money.
The Meeting of Our Future Couple
Jenny and Brian’s meeting to me was pretty believable. They meet each other in a lawyers office when the lawyer is letting them both know that the same house was left to both of them.
Writing
I am in love with this storyline. I feel like sharing half a house is not uncommon, but I am no lawyer so I have no idea 😄 Overall the story was great and the characters were great. Every single character I could totally see in every day life. They were all perfectly written. No one was too over the top. The romance was also spot on! I loved that we got to see Jenny and Brian develop a friendship first. Humor in this movie was PERFECT! I was laughing all the time! This usually never happens in Hallmark movies. Yes there are always funny moments, but that’s it, just moments. It was such a well written movie. If this made it to the silver screen I am sure it would have been a fan favorite!
Chemistry
The chemistry between Lacey and Brennan is FANTASTIC!! I love them together as much as I love Kimberley Sustad and Paul Campbell. Lacey is such a natural when it comes to acting. Everything she does to be is believable. Nothing seems fake. How she is on screen I can totally see her being this way off screen. The same goes for Brennan. They are such a wonderful duo. I have NOTHING but high praises for them! Honestly the whole cast interacted extremely well together. Everyone had such a wonderful flow together and they were all so authentic. It’s like they are all actually friends in real life. They all complimented each other very well.

ED ASNER! Nuff said. I LOVE, LOVE LOVE, that Ed is in this movie. My heart melts every time I see that guy! He will always and forever remind me of the movie Up 💕 Ugh that movie! Anyway, it was a super nice surprise to see him in this. He is also wonderfully funny!
Daniel Cudmore was also great! His character was great because even though he did not talk a lot, he still had a lot to say. Kind of reminded me of Big Manintosh from My Little Pony. I know that reference is out of left field but oh well 😅
Dislikes
There was nothing that I did not like about this movie. The only thing I did not like was that there was not enough Ed Asner 🤣
🟢 Watch or Don’t Watch? 🟢
This is definitely a MUST WATCH movie! So freaking stinking good! I have saved this to my DVR so I can watch forever! Fantastic romcom.
