Now that I have finished this season, I am so pleased with it. Don’t get me wrong. There were a few flaws that it did have, but I was able to look past it all. If you have seen Cobra Kai then you should see Game Changers. Now, Game Changers is nowhere near the level of Cobra Kai, but it still has all the same feels.
All of the kids were wonderful! None of them turned out to be annoying and that makes me beyond happy. Sometimes kids in shows can be a bit much and they take me out of what I am watching, but these kids were fantastic. I enjoyed watching them and I was invested in all of them from the very beginning. They all won me over quickly.
I have seen all of Gilmore Girls and I was not a fan of the show. So I was hesitant to see Lauren Graham in this, but luckily I did not mind her. Yes, she did channel her inner Lorelai Gilmore, but I liked this version. She was very toned down. As her character progressed through the season she becomes more tolerable.
I will say that the writing in this show is truly geared towards tweens. It is also a pretty simple storyline, but it is still enjoyable. If you were a fan of the original movies I say go and give this show a chance, especially if you have kids.
Even though this show had its flaws, I still cannot wait for the next season! Hopefully it will have more of the same feel as the original movies did.
🟢 Watch or Don’t Watch 🟢
If you are a fan of the original, definitely give this show a chance.

How could they forget that Bombay was an awesome lawyer when we left him on D3? When we see him he owns a run down hockey rink and he eats the leftover food from kids’ parties. Like really? I just felt that was a bit too far knowing that Bombay was doing 100% perfect. I do not mind that he is not a fan of hockey anymore. I am cool with them doing his story similar again to the first Ducks movie. But not like this.
I was not a fan of how they even portrayed the original ducks. I did not like that they were not all big shots. They all did go to a prestigious high school and they were the best hockey team. So it is a little hard to believe that they all did not accomplish great things.
The ending had me cheering when we saw them wearing the original Ducks uniform. Man that put a huge smile on my face.
