I give this movie 1 out of 10 vomits
🤮
🟢 Plot 🟢
When small-town wedding photographer Molly’s baby sister gets engaged, she enters the budget-conscious couple in a contest and wins a dream wedding – an all-expenses-paid, celeb-worthy event at a historic Beverly Hills hotel, thrown by “planner to the stars,” Terrence Roquefort. It all seems perfect but when the engaged couple seems uneasy with the new plans, and maid of honor duties bring Molly closer to the best man, her ex-boyfriend Cory, she reconsiders whose dreams she is trying to fulfill.
🟢 The Stars 🟢
Brooke D’Orsay – Molly
Brendan Penny – Cory
🟢 Non Spoiler Review 🟢
Chemistry
The chemistry between Molly and Cory was honestly not all that great. It was a lot of awkwardness. It wasn’t the actors fault though, I honestly think it was the way the characters themselves were written. Even though there was tension between these two characters, usually you are still able to see why they fell in love. I did not get that with this couple. I have seen Brooke and Brendan in other movies and they were GREAT, but for some reason in this one they did not meld. Like I said, it must be how it was written.
Likes
There was nothing really that I liked. I liked all the wedding details: Ballroom, food, and flowers. I also like that they incorporated food trucks because LA has TONS of those.
Dislikes
Honestly, there was a lot that I did not like about this movie. Not even halfway through I was already checked out and doing other things around my house. The movie was in on the background which is sad because I LOVE watching Hallmark movies. Both couples were annoying to me and the future brother in law had me maaaaaaaaad. I don’t think I have ever been that mad before. He was just super annoying everything was being done for them. The maid of honor was pretty annoying too. Even the wedding I didn’t like 😒
Overall
I was pretty bummed watching this movie. It was surprising to me because I NEVER knew I could dislike a Hallmark movie so much 😩
Watch or Don’t
Honestly I say pass on this movie. Only watch it if you want to cross it off your Hallmark checklist. Other than that, you will be fine. You aren’t missing a thing.
