Chemistry
Oh my gosh! The chemistry between these two is amazing! It was spot on! My two favorites coming together was wonderful. Lacey and Andrew have such a relaxed acting style that makes everything feel real. Other people try so hard you can tell they are acting, but not with Andrew and Lacey. They just flow. I could totally see Chloe and Seth as a real relationship in real life. As a fan of Hallmark movies I was pleased to see Andrew and Lacey together. They really complimented each other. I hope they star in more movies together.
Likes
The acting in this movie was on point. Everyone played their part well and they were all believable. No one felt forced. Kudos to the casting person because everyone fit in this movie. No one felt out of place. I also enjoyed the whole concept of the movie. It was very cute and very well done. I was not bored at all and the movie was very enjoyable. I loved it so much I saved it to my DVR. Even the scenery was BEAUTIFUL.
Dislikes
The only thing I did not like was how much Chloe did not like Seth in the beginning. And I was not too fond of the way it ended, but overall it was still great! Sometimes the whole writing notes on the chalkboard would pull me out of the story. ONLY because I don’t think that would happen in real life. In the movie Chloe goes into the house Seth is in because it is her father’s cabin and she goes in to have stuff fixed. I just felt it was unrealistic to be fixing things while someone was renting the place. In real life I feel the person who rented the cabin would just get a discount or something. Not have someone coming in and out as they pleased.
Overall
My Secret Valentine was a wonderfully cute movie! I enjoyed this one a lot, but I will admit. I am a bit biased because these are my two favorite Hallmark actors next to Kimberley Sustad and Paul Campbell. A perfect movie for Valentine’s
