Oh. My. Goodness. This show is legit!! Only two episodes in and it is already one of my favorites. I have NOTHING but high praises for this show. When the show opens they play the original theme song and man I had a huge grin on my face. Brought back wonderful memories of watching The Mighty Ducks for the first time.
It is a well written show. You can tell that the creators really took their time coming up with the script for this show. The script is not only well written, but it is funny, interesting, and entertaining. The comedy is spot on! Everything in this show is blended perfectly where kids AND adults will enjoy the crap out of this show. They really capture the heart of The Mighty Ducks.
The Mighty Ducks Game Changer is so enjoyable. It is such a fun way to spend a Friday night. I make my popcorn, get my candy, have my soda, and kick my feet up on my couch. I am loving this show as much as I love the movies. I get such fuzzy feelings when I am watching this. Very similar to how I felt when they created Cobra Kai. Always a sucker for a good underdog show or movie.
Casting for this show is so on point. Everyone was casted perfectly. If you like Gilmore Girls then you will like Lauren Grahams character. She is pretty much Lorelai Gilmore in this. This was the Lorelai that was supposed to be in the reunion season but wasn’t 😒 Anyway. Moving on. All the kids are great! They are also very funny. They deliver their lines so well! Sometimes with kids I feel they are forced to say something or they are completely different from the character they are playing that you get taken out of the show or movie. But I totally believe all these kids have these personalities outside of filming.
The chemistry on set is also amazing. Everyone looks like they truly get along when the cameras stop rolling. You can also see how much fun everyone is having in their roles. Since they are enjoying themselves it makes me enjoy the show much more.
Ok. I did tell a lie. There was ONE thing I do not like. BUT. We are only two episodes in so I am sure we will get more background. . . I am talking about Bombay. 🔴 Spoiler Spew 🔴 In this show Bombay is not at all where we left him. He is a down in the dumps guy who owns an ice rink that is going to collapse. When we left him he was an extremely successful lawyer and he was happy with his life. But now we see him and he does not look good. Like at all. It is so bad that he ate leftovers from a birthday party. Like I said. I know we are only two episodes in, so I am sure they are going to tell us what happened to him. I feel like they have to. . . 🔴 Spoiler Spew Done 🔴
Also, I hope we get to see some of the original actors. That would be great to see.

DEFINITELY watch! I am loving this show just as much as I loved The Mighty Ducks movie.
