This was such an enjoyable DC show! Why can’t DC movies be as amazing as their animated stuff?! π All three seasons are full of action and adventure.
Season 1 and season 2 are simply amazing! I was GLUED to me TV. I could not stop watching! I NEEDED to know what was going to happen next. The first season was great because it was setting up all the ground work. When season 2 came around, man oh man was well done. Extremely enjoyable, action packed, and fantastically entertaining. It felt like I was reading a comic book. I know that it is a little weird, but it makes sense in my head π But to me that is a huge compliment because I was in a trance. And I felt the characters just jumped right out of my comic books. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about the first two seasons. It exceeded my expectations.
Even though I am singing high praises. Something happens in season 3. . .
Season 3 was a HUGE let down. The first two season were so strong! They reeled you in and made you watch more. But season 3 hit differently. It really did. I went from being glued to my TV to watching this season in the background. There is also a certain new hero character that I was SUPER annoyed with. You will know exactly who I am talking about if you watch the show. Overall, at the end of the day season 3 was still good. I enjoyed everything that they were doing with the characters. As for the action, you can totally tell there is a difference. It is a HUGE jump in the action sequences from the first two seasons. Even though at times this season did feel a little messy, it was still good. Still better than some of the DC movies. . .
The writing done for the first two seasons are absolutely amazing. They really know how to draw you in. You can also tell that the writers truly care for each of these characters. Each character gets an equal amount of development, not so much screen time, but the writers do not leave you hanging when it comes to character development. When they get to season 3 some characters were forgotten. The new characters still do get enough character development, but I wish they would have included some of the characters from the second season.
Even though the actors do not act together, you would not be able tell. It felt like they were all in the same room. I know, I know that this is how all animated movies are done, but this one just hits differently. It could also be that the actors just really do love their jobs and they believe they are these characters. Either way, you can tell the actors have truly embodied the characters they are playing. They DO NOT disappoint.
Before I forget, the animation! Guys the animation. . . The animation is excellent! Very high quality. . . That is all π
Young Justice was enjoyable to watch. If you are a fan of DC and/or Marvel you will for sure enjoy this series. Yes season 3 had its downfalls, but I am still excited to see what will happen in season 4. That ending scene in season 3 got me real good. I cannot wait!
π’ Watch or Don’t Watch π’
This is a MUST WATCH show on HBO Max. Young Justice is extremely well done! You will love every episode (aside from season 3, but overall it was still good). Catch up now so you will be ready for season 4!

Here are some things that I was not a fan of. . .
- I was really hoping we would get Starfire so Nightwing could end up with her and not Batwoman. Yes they make a cute couple, but I am Nightwing and Starfire all the way!
- The bug guy in season 3 annoyed the crap out of me! I HATED that he kept speaking in third person. DON’T even get me started on how he spoke when he went went to high school π‘
- In season 2 they introduced Static Shock and dudes, I was super stoked. I LOVE Static Shock. So I was excited for season 3 so they could develop him more, but nope. It was like they totally forgot he was even there. This upset me a lot. They should have used him more because he is flippin legit!
- WHY DOES CYBORG ALWAYS GET A DIFFERENT ORIGIN STORY?! Oh my freaking goodness! I faced palm when I saw his story. It’s not a bad one, but his story is constantly changing.
