Elle Woods, a fashionable sorority queen, is dumped by her boyfriend. She decides to follow him to law school. While she is there, she figures out that there is more to her than just looks.

I know this movie has been out for a long time, but since it just got on Netflix, I do not want to spoil it for those who have not seen it. . .
This is one of the best chick flicks I have seen. Top of my list is Crazy Rich Asians, The Proposal, and Love Happens. Legally Blonde is a hilarious! You will see that this is a very, VERY, quotable movie. The only thing I ask is that you do not take this movie seriously. If you do then you will be disappointed in this movie. From beginning to end I thoroughly enjoyed every part of this movie. This movie has such a high feel good element and it doesn’t disappoint. I had a huge smile from ear to ear because I enjoyed this movie so much.
I LOVE Elle’s character. We should all be a little more like her. She knows exactly who she is and she is not sorry for that. She knows that she does have to prove herself to others that she does belong there at Harvard Law, but she does it without compromising herself. Elle stays true to who she is throughout the whole movie. She is always super positive too. I caught myself rooting for her out lout to my tv.
What I did not like is that Elle went to Harvard to try to win her boyfriend back. No woman, or man, should have to change who you are to please an ex. BUT! I do like that Elle at the end did everything herself to prove to people that she is smart and she can become a lawyer. She wants people to learn to not judge a book by its cover.
Every person they casted in this movie work perfectly together. All of their personalities blend extremely well. Everyone gives such a wonderful performance, ESPECIALLY Reese Witherspoon. She is flawless! Since they are all well casted, it makes this movie so much better. I cannot see anyone else in these roles.
The writing in this movie was perfectly done as well. You think you are getting just a plain chick flick comedy, but when you start to dig deeper there is a wonderful underlying message. You can do anything as long as your whole self in it.
Overall, I have nothing but high praises for this movie.

I won’t say this is a MUST WATCH film, but to me this is a must watch movie because it is light and funny. There are no twist and turns or not knowing what you are getting into. This is an overall fun comedy. So if you want to relax and have a good laugh, then this is the movie for you.
