🟢 Non Spoiler Spew 🟢
Oh my gosh. Oh my gosh. Oh my gosh! Only the second episode, but I know it is going to be a great series. I know I say that about a lot of shows, but these shows do turn out to be amazing! With this episode the creators are really proving that this show is going to have action, drama, lots of time travel, and GREAT Loki moments. This episode was such a delight to watch. They should have started out with the first two episodes as the premiere because honestly, I enjoyed this one more than the first episode.
In this episode Mobius really puts Loki to work. Rightfully so, not many people at the TVA are happy to see Loki walking around.
🔴 Spoiler Spew 🔴
I was laughing at the scene where Loki is trying to get the librarian’s attention and she completely ignores him. I like it because Loki is not used to being treated this way. So it is great to see him truly out of his element.
It really does seem in these coming episodes we are going to be in for a time traveling chase and I am fine with that. Will it be like Catch Me if You Can? No, probably not. Would be cool though. LOVE that movie!
🟢 Loki 🟢
Loki, Loki, Loki. I cannot wait to see what he ends up doing with the Variant Lady Loki. If you have kept up with all the movies then you know Loki turns good at the end of it all. So I wonder if this Loki will end up the same since he does in the sacred timeline. Maybe Lady Loki will go too far even for Loki to handle?
🟢 Mobius 🟢
Owen Wilson is doing such an amazing job. I am enjoying everything he says and every mannerism he is giving to this character. Now. I have always been a fan of Owen Wilson. So I am a bit biased.
You know, I did think it was pretty cool that Mobius referred to Loki as an “ice runt” and that he was a “scared little boy, shivering in the cold”. I got some chills because it was almost as if Mobius was talking to him about Loki’s true roots.
🟢 Lady Loki 🟢
Lady Loki! Oh. My. Gosh! This was wonderful to see! My ONLY complaint about her was that her horns were too small. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t want them as big as Hela from the movie. But I would have liked a little smaller version than what we are used to from the original Loki.
I was happy to see her because I know Lady Loki is a HUGE fan favorite. So it is nice to see Marvel incorporate her into this show. I cannot wait to see where this leads since she dropped multiple reset charges creating multiple new timelines.
You know, knowing that Loki can shape shift and take over people’s bodies, are we sure that this lady Loki is actually who she says she is?
🟢 Miss Minutes 🟢
I know she is just a little character, but I am loving her because she is voiced by Tara Strong. If you don’t know who she is, she is a major voice over actress. She was on Teen Titans Go!, DC Super Hero Girls, My Little Pony, and Young Justice.
🟢 Timelines 🟢
It was intense seeing the sacred timeline go out of control and see all of the new timelines popping up. For a few brief seconds we see what places are being affected by the new timelines. It was great seeing some of the places we have already been to. . .
Vormir. This is the planet that the Soul Stone was on. Where Thanos sacrificed Gamora and where Black Widow sacrificed herself.
Asgard. We all know this is Loki’s home. Since this Loki variant was not part of its destruction I am sure he is going to want to try and save it. Or at least try to save more people. But who knows. I just feel that we are not done with Agard just yet.
Sakaar. This is the “Trash Planet”. We see this planet in Thor: Ragnarok with the Hulk.
Ego. We know this is the planet seen in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 and Ego is also Peter Quill’s dad.
Titan. This was scary to see because this is Thanos’ home planet.
Hala. This planet is the home of the Kree.
Xandar. This planet is the home of the Nova Corps. Maybe seeing this planet will lead to Nova himself?
🟢 Natural Disasters 🟢
Ok. This was pretty freakin scary. All the disasters Mobius was talking about were all climate related. He said there is the extinction of the Swallow, Tsunami’s, and Hurricane’s. This was a bit too real for my liking because I feel every year these disasters are becoming more and more destructive and every year certain animals face extinction.
🟢 Ragnarok 🟢
I thought this was a great nod to the third Thor movie. When we saw Loki reading about Asgard and Ragnarok my heart broke for him. It is sad to see him reading about what happened to his home and to see how many people died. And what’s sad is that this destruction is on the sacred timeline.
