This is such a bright colored movie. Oh. My. Goodness. It was like someone threw up Skittles and Starbursts. . . BUT. . . I enjoyed it! I am a HUGE fan of all the colors. We rarely get these many bright colors in animation. There are rainbows everywhere. Every color you can imagine is used in this movie. There are also fireworks everywhere. Kids will LOVE this movie. My Little Pony: The Movie is truly geared towards children and adults who watch the TV show.
The songs they sing I found myself dancing on my couch 😅 They were really catchy! There are under water dance numbers and a song that takes place on a pirate ship about being awesome. Who doesn’t want to hear a song about being awesome?
Animation in this movie was fantastic as well! I saw the My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic TV show and you can really tell a difference in the animation. I figured there would be because with a big movie animation that made it to the silver screen, the company will always get more money to make their movie. So you can see that the animators really did put the money they got into good use 😂
What an all star cast they were able to get for this movie as well. Not only is it an all star cast, but I had NO idea they could all sing! Well, I knew Emily Blunt could. But I had no idea everyone else could as well. They were all fantastic! They also did a great job, well the actors and editors, making it seem like everyone was in the same room acting and acting off of each other.
Overall, this is such a cute movie through and through. It was also fun and extremely charming.

Yes watch it! Especially if you have kids. They will enjoy this movie.
