🟢 Non Spoiler Spew 🟢

I LOVED this movie! Absolutely loved it! I thought it was great that they were poking fun at the hit TV show The Bachelor. It made for a funny and entertaining movie. The things they said in this movie about The Bachelor are the same things I have said or have heard late night TV show hosts say.

The Meeting of Our Future Couple

You know, I really liked they way the couples met. To me it really did feel natural. Hayley meets Luke in the casting room for The Bachelor like show and Bree meets Marco while doing blind folded yoga.

The story they wrote was great! Poking fun at The Bachelor I thought was a great move. It made for an entertaining movie. I know Hallmark has done a spoof of this show before, but they made those a serious movie. I loved that this one had a bit more comedy to it and Hayley was the voice in many people’s head who are skeptics of The Bachelor. The writers of this movie knew exactly what they were doing.

All the actors I felt had such wonderful chemistry together. It was fun watching them all interact with each other. Chloe and Scott were great together. There were times I did not buy their banter, but majority of it I did. I could see them as a couple in real life. Corbin and Taiana I thought were cute together as well. I did not always feel the chemistry right off the bat, but I kind of liked that. I felt they were both growing together as actors. They had awkward moments together that brought their performances to life. Overall, I really enjoyed watching this cast.

I really hope we see more of Corbin and Scott. They need to star in another movie together and Corbin needs his own movie as well.

When Hallmark pokes fun at a show they really go for it and I am all in. There is a contestant that says her job is an “Underwater Enthusiast” and Bree says that contestants always have non-existent jobs. That is literally something late night TV show hosts make fun of. I also loved that Bree had a fantasy board on who would win or not. I know people who do this in real life for The Bachelor.

I was also a fan of the pacing of the movie. Sometimes with Hallmark their pacing can either be fast or super slow. This movie they really knew how to edit. The pacing was perfect! I did not feel there were long lulls and I did not feel they rushed any part. Everything was well thought out.

I do wish they would have focused more on Corbin Bleu than Scott Foster. Scott was fantastic as Cappie on Greek and as Kristoff on Once Upon a Time. I have not seen Corbin in anything else other than High School Musical. Ok. I think they should have focused more on Corbin, OR, they should have made them friends as well. Like Scott’s character needs a bachelor and uses his best friend. Then the other two best friends have the same story that was presented. I would have wanted this because I know Corbin can do that best friend bit since he already did that with Zac Effron. Next time Hallmark!

I truly enjoyed this movie and this has totally been saved on my DVR.
