π’ Quick Thoughts Spew π’
This episode had me hahaing and tee heeing because we got a wedding episode. If you have ever been to a wedding you know they can be really fun or really boring. This wedding was full of drama.
Also, them changing the title card to say Just Jen instead of She-Hulk was great to me. Nice nod to the title of the show.
I am not understanding why everyone was really mean to Jen at the wedding. I was really confused with the whole situation.
Another thought I am having is. . . I am wondering if She-Hulk is introducing Mutants with having Titania and Mr. Immortal in the show. We have them, but have had zero explanation as to why they have powers. We did see mention of a guy with metal claws in a bar. So we did get a nod to Wolverine.
One thing that I am enjoying about this show is that it is very relatable.

Main Story
First off, I am LOVING drunk/dancing Jen. She is a whole vibe at this moment and I am here for it.
I thought it was clever that Jen breaks the fourth wall and tells the audience that this episode will be a self contained wedding episode. I liked that because my expectations were high that we were going to see daredevil. But Jen was nice enough to tell us nope, that’s not happening.
When Jen got invited to be a bridesmaid I really did not understand why she said yes. I was right there with Nikki, Jen should have said no. She has not talked to this person in a long time. But then again I do see how hard it is for someone to say no to something like that. Then again, she has not talked to this person since High School, so I don’t know why she said yes or why the Bride even asked her. I didn’t get the feeling that the Bride and Titania were in on this together.
When we get to the wedding Jen rolls up to the wedding as She-Hulk then instantly gets shot down by the bride. Which makes sense honestly because how the heck are you gonna come to a wedding and up stage the bride?? That is wedding no no 101. But I will say, everyone complimenting how great She-Hulk looked had me laughing because women do yell out to each other nice butt or compliment when a friend looks good. Another point to this is that I don’t get why Jen did that. She dislikes doing anything as She-Hulk. Maybe this is her way of saying she is now getting comfortable with it? Still confused on that though.
With the dress Jen wore confused me a little. I thought the super hero clothes maker we saw in the previous episode made her the dress she is wearing. I thought the guy was supposed to make her clothes that could fit her as both She-Hulk and Jen.
During the wedding when Titania was wanting to fight Jen and she was too drunk to turn into She-Hulk was great. It was such a realistic moment and I did enjoy that. Towards the end I did feel a little bad about Titania because you could tell that she probably had to work extra hard to get to where she is in life. But then again I don’t feel bad because she was the one who started to attack Jen first and she is the one who started the fight in the first episode on the series.
I know Jen getting stuck with the dog to walk down the isle with was supposed to be bad, but i didn’t see anything wrong with it. I would not mind walking down the isle with a doggie.
At the end, Jen and Josh at the end was SUPER cute. But Josh is a bit sus to me. So I don’t want to like him right away. We also see people in a lab called Hulk King where they want to get Jen’s blood. They are also looking at a screen and they are watching Jen and Josh eat food. BUT Josh does seem to keep telling Jen what she wants to hear. He tells her that he is more of a Jen fan, and the thing with that is we all know that Jen can get pricked with needles, but She-Hulk can’t. So maybe Josh wants her to get comfy with him as Jen, then he will go in and get her blood.
The ending did take a turn for the show. This whole time it has been light and fluffy and fun. But right at the end She-Hulk is getting death threats and we see a lab with people who want her blood. I think we are going to see a shift in tone. Especially with Daredevil coming in soon. We know his show was nothing but seriousness.
Intelligencia
I did some quick research on Intelligencia and this is what I found out. . .
Intelligencia is a supervillain organization where they exchange information with each other. What’s notable about this team is that Doctor Doom and M.O.D.O.K. are both part of this agency. Another noteworthy thing is that Doom and MODOK are both going to be in the newest Ant-Man movie. Either both will appear or just MODOK.
In the comics, Intelligencia helped out with the creation of Red Hulk. This would make sense for this to be a plot point here because Betty Ross becomes Red Hulk in the comics. If you remember the movie The Incredible Hulk, Liv Tyler played Betty Ross. So this would be a pretty freaking cool way to bring her back.
Side Story
Nikki and Mallory teaming up for a divorce case was awesome. I do miss Nikki and Pug, but I like that we see Nikki interacting with a new colleague. It was also great to see because we see the Superhuman Law Division actually doing something. Although I wish this was more of a focus with Jen, but I will give up that hope. . .
Mr. Immortals story was really funny. First off. I love that this was the same guy who plays the Major Domo in The Book of Boba Fett. I was laughing when Immortal says that he leaves his wives by faking his own death knowing he cannot die and then he just leaves the person.
After this episode I just love Nikki even more. When she was sitting crisscross applesauce on the table telling and the ex wives what they are getting was fantastic. This sub plot was entertaining for me to watch. A bit more entertaining than Jen at the wedding.
Also after this sub-plot, it made me question Mallory a bit. Since they were the ones that found out about Intelligencia, you would think they would both hurry and call Jen. But instead Mallory tells Nikki to not tell Jen about the death threats. Like WTF. Why the heck not? I would tell my friend in heartbeat.
