It was GREAT seeing Nightwing and Batgirl pop up in this issue.

I LOVE that Nightwing AND Batgirl were both in this issue. Made me love it a whole lot more. . . My favorite is still the issue with Ace though πŸ™ƒ I do wish a little but that the Gang was in it a bit more. It did feel a little all over the place. But then that made me feel like it was more realistic since there was a whole parade going on. That all their missions cannot always go smoothly.

What I LOVED was that Vielma joked about Fred and Daphne dating because Fred and Daphne did not understand why Nightwing and Batgirl were not dating.

I am loving every issue because of the colors they have been using. They are capturing the spirit of Scooby-Doo PERFECTLY! This one had more colors than normal since there was a parade involved. Reisco is doing such a fantastic job. Brizuela is also doing such a great job at the artwork. Like I have said before, it is EXACTLY what I would expect from a Scooby-Doo comic.

This is just like all the other issues, and I LOVE it! It is so much fin to read these! It is a fun break from everything else. Out of the other issues, this one was the one that they did not give us full reasoning as to why the villain’s were in Gotham. But, with fun issues like this, I know what I am getting myself into.

πŸ”΄ Spoiler Summary Spew πŸ”΄

Crooks are dressed as monsters trying to sell monster insurance to shop owners so they can protect them. Shaggy and Scooby and the gang try to stop these crooks. They all get saved by Nightwing and Batgirl. The gang, Nightwing and Batgirl are trying to figure out what is going on. One of the henchmen let slip there will be something happening the next day at a parade. Nightwing and Batgirl say, “We have a date tomorrow morning”. Daphne asks them if they are dating and they say no it is just a figure of speech. Daphne says, “Too bad” and Fred says, “I know, they always seem like they should be dating”. Velma butts in and says, “Well, you two would know all about that kind of thing, wouldn’t you?”. Fred goes, “Who? Me and Daphne? What do you mean?”

I thought the last part was great because we all know that Fred and Daphne should be a thing.

The next day is a costume parade and Black Mask comes out and sends a live Sphinx and Hippogriff and a Sea-Lion out into the crowd to terrorize people. They find the henchmen who are controlling the monsters and unmask them. They go to unmask Black Mask but cannot and Velma is worried because they will not be able to tell who is in the Black Mask Society. Luckily a henchmen takes off his mask and it is Batman! He was undercover and now has everyone’s name who is in the society.
